In Topic: SUPPLIER INFO IN PRODUCTS SOLD TO CLIENTS

Personally, I do not want the supplier name or asi number on an item. I label my own samples for my own information. I guarantee there is no federal law saying they have to put their ASI number on an item. Also, something is fishy when most of the items I deal with daily have NO labeling - so obviously there is a way around that. I think they only need that RN number and fabric content.

I cannot imagine anyone thinking this is a good idea.  I agree with the statements about there should be an expectation that our associations are there for us, to protect and promote the members.  There is no way, even now, for a supplier to know whether they are talking to an actual distributor or an end user a distributor brought at the shows. (Or, an end user that happens to be on a supplier's mailing list that they invite...)  I like to make the decisions about the pricing and discounts I give to each customer myself.
