Just to let you all know, I was reviewing posts about Las Vegas and thinking about a budget and what am I going to do for next year to gain more clients, while listening to David Blaise's Cd's, then I came across this post. I think this is a great forum. We all know what we shoud be doing every day, but it's great to be reminded and refreshed.

Michael makes a great point. Very often we know what we should be doing... we just fail to do it. Today's video clip addresses that issue:

I loved the last line of the video. It seems so true around my area, and I'm sure it's that way all over the place. Great clip.

It is true Matt. The only way around it is through relationship selling of "programs".

If you sell a promotional product, anybody can walk in and quote lower. If you sell a promotional program, that has a goal, a beginning, an end, a budget, and a way to measure its success...not only can you marry yourself to that customer, but price is a minor talking point.

I do it by caring about my customer's success, not just printing an invoice.
