I have thought about it but have always not done it because of the difference in the US price and the Canadian price.

Royce does or used to have one for his American customers.

As far as I can figure there are only about 6 suppliers in the data base that have C$ pricing so I do not bother....I do have a U$ site set up for my US customers but goods are not exactly flying off the shelves....

Ben I guess the biggest problem for a C$ site would be the everchanging exchange rate and rates of duty that vary between 0% and 18% and the odd items that still have excise tax....

Royce and Ben I find that I could actually work around the exchange rate but the problem is the shipping cost has to be worked into the cost of the item.

When I do a quote I can incorporate a % of the shipping in the cost, but if I showed the entire amount I would never get an order.

Sounds like I agree with you.

I just did a proposal for a client in SAGE (30 day trial) and I had to go back after I input everything and manually change all the numbers to reflect duty, customs, shipping and the exchange rate was NOT EVEN CLOSE.

With all that said, it still produced a nice looking report and I am not sure if I built something in In Design it would take me any less time.

Thanks

Ben
