I'm brand new to this. Just registered and am now trying to see how to take advantage of this great idea. I need to know how to post a search for an item?

And just in general how to use the site. Where do I look to understand all the terminology and how to use things etc.?

You absolutely want to start with the FAQ up top. You succeeded in making a new post in the questions forum, now just head down to the "Product Research" forum and post a new message there if you want help locating a product.

This isnt really a product search tool just more of a discussion board. You will still need to take advantage of other industry sites to find products if people here cannot help you.
