I am interested in adding Live Chat to our website and have discovered several sites; however, they all operate on the PC platform. We are Mac based. Does anyone know of any software that is cross-platform?

My understanding is that Crafty Syntax Live (http://www.craftysyntax.com/) is cross-platform.

Are you talking about running the live chat off of your website server? If so, anything you put on that server should be able to operate out of a browser window regardless of whether you're running mac OS, windows, or Linux... at least that's my understanding of it. What problems are you currently having in implementing the programs?

I use phplivesupport whch installs on my server and runs from a browser window. I did this because our entire office moved to macs.

Adam - Cyrstal D is a great vendor, we've done a couple of large jobs with them and they have been terrific.

We used live chat software for years on our site, and while we liked the software, we found people did not use it much... and the ones that did were not serious customers. We found out that chatting attracted the bored lookers, rather than the spenders. It became a waste of time and money -- just one man's experience.
