We are considering hiring a salesperson to develop a territory, this person would be paid a salary and a % of the sales. If you are already employing someone like this I would like to talk to you about % and other questions on procedures.

what state are you looking to employ in? Are you looking for someone that already has a book of business in that territory and at least 3 years of experience in the promotional industry or are you recruting someone that is new to our industry? This makes a difference on compensation and whether you should bring them on board as an employee or independent contractor.
