Like many of my customers, I am paralyzed with all the choices of product. I am working on building a collage of products to be placed on the back of my business card. I would welcome any and all discussion about this as well as some ideas.:drum:

The problem with business cards is that they have a very small area, so they don't always do justice to collages. How often do you order business cards? Maybe you can feature a different product or couple of products each time.

Tell us about your business:
Do you serve any markets in particular? Products specific to that market might be good.
What is your 'best selling' product? That could be an option.
Have you recently designed a good promotion? A personal case study might be fun to promote what have done for other companies and could do for your future customers.
What is your current self promo product? You could put that on the back and you have a built in sample stock!

How about this logo on the back?

I especially like the one with the tagline.

I think it looks really good! Not too busy and it gets the point across "at a glance".

I think it would look better with this on the back. :)

Seriously though, nice design. Colors are pleasing & complimentary. As Chris says, it is important to get the thought across at first glance... and you do that well.

I thought of a different Dooley picture but my wife nixed it. Said it would distract from my good looks.

Nice and tidy. On a biz card size, I don't think my old eyes could pick out exactly what everything was, if I didn't already know, but then the rest of the card explains that.

Russ,

The photos are on the back. I did not think of the apparel since that is not a big market for me. Should be but it is hard to compete with $5.00 silk-screened t-shirts. I need to push the higher end market more.

Not sure about the 800 #.

Rush service is a pain in the aspirin bottle. I had a rush happen this week that was totally fouled up. I need to streamline the process more to be able to handle those projects more efficiently. I am a one man shop and it seems that rush jobs take more time and add stress to me that isn't worth the time and cost. No one wants to pay what I think a rush job is worth. That rush job this week had a $50.00 rush charge from the manufacturer and I doubled that but I spent more in time and in "babysitting" that job that I should have charged $300 for the rush job.

>
> That's what I did about 15 years ago when I discovered Sanmar would imprint my logo & contact info. on catalogs w/ ASI price coding (A). I wanted those corporate events & golf outings & didn't want to sell only items under a dollar like pens etc. & I went from 300-4--K to over 1.5MM. Profit stayed at about 33- 34%. Plus apparel represents the biggest segment of our industry so it made sense to get involved.

> Alot of work. Sizing, colors, thread colors etc. but worth it. Also had a local screen printer that did my T-shirt orders.

> Sent blank shirts from Bodek or Sanmar to Vantage for embroidery (they had 5 locations then). Also same w/ caps & jackets. Pushed golf balls & awards & trade show bags back then.
