Hey Guys,

As suppliers I rarely hear about the real challenges we go through in our day to day? Please let me know what you think. I know we are constantly talking about our products and how great they are but beyond that, what are your biggest challenges in today's economy and in our industry? Pricing, Competition, etc?

I am going to guess that inventory is the biggest challenge........Guessing what will be hot in 4 to 12 months will drive most suppliers crazy....

I would say - how to reach our customers. Where to put our resources...search engines -web site-online catalog services - trade shows - regional shows - printed catalogs sent snail mail - e-mail services - traditional ads in trade publications - ads on others web sites ------all vying for your money. There is only a limited supply of that. How do I get in front of the most people with intrist in my product.....

I agree Rose. Our biggest challenge is getting the word out there and getting in front of customers. Once a distributor finds us, they usually stick with us because they love the quality of our product and the service they receive. There are so many different avenues and mediums in which to advertise and get the word out, but we only have so many resources and ad dollars to spend.
