Hello,

I am in search of another supplier (hopefully with a lower minimum) for a post card with a mangetic business card attached to it. We are looking for approximately 125 to 150 qty. and TradeNet will not do less than minimum (I asked and 250 is double what we need). The 8 1/2 by 5 1/4 post card with a magnetic business card is what they want.

Thanks for your help!

Tammy

The net cost on 250 is 157.50.....Even if you find a lower minimum, I doubt you will find a lower net cost.....

What is so unique about their art that they can not use the extras later?....

Order the 250 divide it by the number your client wants, charge them that amount and then just same the rest for when he repeats.:)

It's a "save the date" item for a Golf Tournament. I tried to sell them on the Memo Boards - thought that would be a terrific item but....this is what they like the best (I'm not finished with that idea, just yet).

I'll point that out to them and see how it goes. I'm one of the sponsors and agreed to help with the cost for having my logo on the item - if there are 100 to 125 extra's - it's just going to cost me more .... :) I just thought I would see if I was missing something, as far as another supplier for these .

Quikey Mfg might do it. Try Shawn Sitton at 888-772-3351 or cr209@quikey.com. Tell her Margie Myers sent you.

Their website says the minimum is 250, probably because these items are supposed to be sent direct mail, and the min. qty the post office will do bulk rate is 200.

buy 250... have 100 samples that you present to other clients as a successful promotion you've helped with...

If your logo is involved, what about Self Promo pricing?

Jim as far as I know, TradeNet's self promo pricing applies only to self promos only and not co-op pieces....

TradeNet self promo pricing is for exclusive Distributor SELF Promotion and not for promotion of other businesses.

Can't you order 250, with a Copy Change Charge? Order what your client needs with their art, and the rest with your own.

Only $12 for the Copy Change Charge.

That's a great idea Isa! Thanks - I'm going to look into that -my other option with less than minimum charges is about as much as the 250 minimums. This just may work! :)

For copy changes with TradeNet, you need catalogue minimum quantity for each change...

Pricing is based on gang printing in quantities of 250. Copy changes would not be allowed.

On this product we are actually manufacturing two products and combining them in a third process to create a third product. Lot's of setups, lot's of matching things together, etc...

Agree with the others. The 125 wouldn't even meet our minimum order. I would sell them 125 for the cost of the 250, and throw the other 1/2 away if they want to be hardheaded about it.

End users are not too bright. I had a lady last year who wanted 250 business card magnets. It was cheaper to buy 500 but she insisted on 250 so she bought them on ebay from some guy for MORE than it cost to buy 500 from us.

I have another guy who has come back to us 3 times for peel and stick magnetic backing for his business cards even though fully printed business card magnets are cheaper. He INSISTS on making use of his extra business cards so he sticks them on himself.... :D

Sorry I haven't responded for awhile - I've been busy (thank goodness)!!

To follow-up, they produced a trifold brochure that looks wonderful and then ordered magnetic business cards (qty/250) to attach to the brochure. They will mail or hand deliver these to potential golfers. I have my logo on the magnet and we split the retail cost of them.

It worked out in the long run and my business name is out there one more time. I'll let you know if I get any business from the magnets.....:D

Happy selling...
Tammy
