Does anybody have a good software program for invoiciing and PO#? I have been using Smart Invoice & Estimates by Versa Check since 2004. I guess it has filled up as it won't hold any more info. I have it loaded onto my "C" drive. I don't want Quikbooks. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check out DistributorCentral. It ties to your website and allows you to become "mobile". Product information and pricing is honored by the Suppliers.

Your customers can pay you online or via emailed invoices. They can see their proofs and artwork from prior jobs. You can see your proofs and artwork from prior jobs.

All correspondence, notes, and conversations with both your customer and suppliers can be saved with each order. This allows for good record keeping on who said what.

Each of your salespersons can have their own "child" accounts so they only see their orders. They can have personalized websites.

You can setup as many websites as you wish. Many Distributors are setting up niche sites for specific customers.

DistributorCentral will be introducing online design tools in the next 90 days that allow your customer to design production ready art from templates.

Best of all DC is a good value, provided to you by over 400 participating Suppliers.

I've been using QB's for 10 years and love it.

It produces multiple reports and allows you to email any report including invoices.

It alerts me when certain taxes are due and when there is a payroll tax change. You can then update your payroll taxes with one click.

Also, I have three employees that I take out child support for and one that has to have money taken out for a school loan default. It figures the child support and school loan drafts for each individually, then with a couple of clicks it prints out the individual checks with the addresses of the correct agency and the appropriate refence number for each.

I also like that I can make an accountants copy for tax purposes and it is the program most financial people use. My accountant actually has a QB expert on staff to help if I do have any issues.

Finally, for all it does it is also very user friendly.

We're seeing greater numbers of Distributors use a combination of DistributorCentral and Quickbooks. DistributorCentral order summaries can be imported into Quickbooks.

DistributorCentral offers full order integration with your website. Your customers can see order status, proofs, and reorder from your website.

Because DistributorCentral is the number one website provider in the industry and now provides XML feeds to Distributors not using DC for their website it has become most Suppliers primary product data source. Suppliers can use DistributorCentral for their own websites as well as export the product data and provide it to the other Service Providers.
