Hi everyone, I do business with a fitness center and my 2 contacts are going to be calling on corporate accounts to try to sign up people at their companies. I currently do the wearables for them. I'm trying to come up with items that they can use once they get an appointment. I've thought of the usual pens ect. Any ideas that would pertain to the fitness industry would be appreciated. billyk

I would not give some cheap plastic stuff. I would offer something to somebody something nice for meeting with me.

I have been using Cutter and Buck pens from Leeds. Don't always think you have to give a "themed" item. If you do you will limit yourself and you may not have the staying power that you need.

You want something that conveys the value of the gym. If you give cheap the corporate client will think cheap.

Hi,

Sounds like a perfect time to break out a Brand name in sporting goods.
Asics speed rope - drawstring bag - duffle - sling bag..... Something that is like-minded and usefull to them in the fitness world....

I'm not sure they would spend on a leave behind. I like Derek's idea of a nicer pen which is what I was thinking. Maybe if they convert some calls into clients then I would offer a nicer item to the contact. billyk

So Billy,

Why not give a quantity and a budget so we know where to lead you?

Thanks, Rose

A leave behind would probably be in the budget range of 1- 3.00 dollars. A gift up to 15.00. I'm looking more at the leave behind which is what they are interested. Something to hand their prospect after the sales call. billyk

And now for something completely different: if there are female members at this fitness center, please take a look at our Racktrap (http://www.customint..._CallToday.html). We introduced this item with the fitness crowd in mind. It's the perfect place for women to keep a locker key, ID, etc...

Mike,
That is a very cool product.....great and usefull. Rare to see something that piques my intrest after so many years and so much stuff. I am a fan of the usefull chachki. I adore the name, but then again I am a little un-PC.

Why limit to just that?

What's the objective of the fitness center? It sounds like it's to get the approval from a manager to solicit all of his/her employees.

What does the fitness center stand to earn in revenue if permission to solicit from just one corporate client is granted?

Answer those questions, and you'll likely be able to sell them a campaign that's likely well beyond their imagined budget . . . because the return on the campaign will be so much better than what they imagined.
