Jus my perspective, after attending the NPS showcase in Detroit yesterday. Seemed like a solid and enthused distributor turnout as the aisles seemed very busy.
I noticed that, in my opinion, the vast majority of the supplier reps were rather "flat" at best. Maybe it is just due to road warrior burnout? Maybe I am being too critical?
Of course, the "best reps" were still on their "A" game...hmmmm...maybe I'm on to something?

PPAI The Expo ended on Friday, and most people that I talked to from Central and Eastern time zones had difficulty adjusting to Pacific time.
I'm glad that my NPS (the best tabletop show, hands down) isn't until 8 February.

And not only had many come from PPAI Vegas, but ASI Orlando right before that. I know that having the game face on is so important in our line of work, but you might have just been catching them in that moment where they wondered what their own bed felt like...:)

I didn't notice any 'mopers' among the Southern Showcase reps in Houston, but that could be due to it being on the first working day of the New Year - January 4th.
Plenty of time for them to recover from New Year's celebrations, and ready to get back to business after the long holiday season - plus some needing to increase revenue to pay for all their Christmas giving.
