So, why does the rotating banner block the contents of the drop down tabs??

John, this has been discussed months ago. Chris knows about it but I don't think he is too worried about the fix.

It only seems to happen on certain banners though.

Only on Flash-based banners. The embedded object floats above the DHTML menu items.
