... is looking for something to give to brokers for attending an Open House as a reminder of that visit & that home in particular.

Additionally that same broker is looking for something general to give to people who visit this house as a reminder.

Anybody out there w/ any experience w/ this scenario?

Much thanks in advance,
Russ

Hi Russ!

There are some pretty expensive homes here on Maui, so the answer here might be different than what your broker is seeking. Any idea on quantity & price range?

Isa, home is selling for 499K. Quantity would be small, 25 or less imo.

This is not something I have had any experience with.

Thanks,
Russ

Russ,
How about a picture frame that the realtor can put a picture of the house , selling price and his name and phone number and insert into the frame.
The realtors coming by for an open house can then put it up in their office.
Your realtor can order in qty and do this with several different houses he has on the market.

Clyde, where does the imprint go. Not much room on a frame?

I would put the sell sheet on a piece of Photo paper and put it where the photo would go.
That way you can order the frames blank.Or with the realtors logo.
I hope that makes sense

Russ,
Maybe you can propose something that would be useful for more than one property, so that the quantities can be higher.

Woodmax has glass coasters that can have a photo inserted. Give out one coaster with an image of the property (like Cylde suggested for the frames). The broker can buy higher quantities and give them out for each property he/she presents, thus allowing a visiting realtor/broker to obtain a set of them. The Woodmax coasters are available singly, minimum 25 pieces, sell at 50 pcs only $3.90.

The insert of the house may not stay in there long, but then they probably don't want to give out something where the house image is permanent - people won't keep an item that doesn't have any meaning later. I would guess that a visiting broker will still remember where they got the nice glass coaster, and it could have a nice light tone imprint (looking like glass etching) with the offering broker's logo.

For people in general who visit the house, how about an ice cream scoop? July (I think) is National Ice Cream month, and hot summer days are here or just around the corner. Set up a nice display on a table with the scoops, maybe some glass bowls & spoons, and bright napkins. The realtor showing the home can talk about enjoying the delicious treats of life, relaxing, celebrating - all in this lovely home.

Now, neither the coaster or the ice cream scoop blare real estate or the particular house. BUT if the person giving it (anything) out looks the recipient in the eye and says,

"As you are relaxing and enjoying a cool drink/sweet cup of ice cream, I want you to think of this house and what it could mean to you/your client."

-or-

"Imagine yourself/your family sitting out in this backyard enjoying ice cream on a weekend. Or sitting on a sofa in this lovely livingroom, watching TV together and enjoying dessert. "

You could also offer ice cream cone shaped stickers to put on the flyers or back of the business cards!

I would guess that would be much more memorable than the usual stack of flyers sitting passively on a hall table!
