I've had several people approach me asking if there was some way they could post looking for employment, but they wanted to be able to do it anonymously for various reasons.

DT has answered the call and now allows anonymous posts to be made in the "Industry Employment" forum.

Here are a few things you should know about using the forum:

1) It is the ONLY forum on the site that you can post to while logged OUT of DT.

2) When posting anonymously, you will have to verify the words in an image to confirm that you are human. This cuts back on spam.

3) To post anonymously, you should first LOG OUT using the button up top. I suggest you then CONFIRM you are logged out by looking at the Member box at the top left of the page. If it says "Welcome, username" then you are NOT logged out. If it has form fields for you to login, then you ARE logged out. I suggest you triple check this before submitting your post to guarantee anonymity. I have attached some images to help illustrate this point.

4) Your post is going to need to include an email address so employers can contact you. I suggest setting up a Gmail account for this - something that obviously does not reveal your identity, and that can be tossed out when you're done with it (because of spam). Be sure to include this address in your post so employers can reach you.

That's about all there is to it. I hope the new forum helps some of our friends find new, industry related jobs while remaining completely anonymous.

When posting your email address, I'd recommend that you follow this format:

scott dot mueller at theruraljuror dot com

Spell out at instead of using @; spell out dot instead of using a period.

If you type in scott.mueller@theruraljuror.com, you increase the chances of your email address being harvested by undesirable parties.

If your name happens to be Dot, change it to Dorothy.

Can I take a tad credit for this.

Everyone says I am a bad influence.

I would like some sort of reference to when I am not being one.
