I'm just catching up on some promo mags and came across an ad in Promotional Consultant from December. The ad is for DailyBoost.com.
Has anyone registered and used this service before? It appears it is associated with UPIC but I never register for something unless I know what the heck it is. There is very limited info on the actual website.

I signed up a few days ago because I get a daily email from PPAI and they make you sign up if you want to read the whole article. Below, I pasted the "About Us" page for you. I haven't really gotten into yet.

I went to their overview at PPAI Vegas. They indicated that they are a for-profit division of PPAI. Anyone who has a UPIC number can register. Their forum includes suppliers and distributors. I logged on and looked around. It was just introduced during PPAI in Vegas so there wasn't much of a database of info.

It looks quite promising. I too got the presentation at PPAI The Expo. I can't wait to test out OrderTrax 2.0.

Today I was in contact with them and will signing up for a webinair. ASI has a program called Transact that I tried but dropped a few years back. I was almost double posting if you were using QB Pro. According to the guy at iServ Corp today, he claims that their's is much better. The pricings about the same so I will test it. It's a bit more in cost if you're not with PPAI so that might be a benefit now to join although even with the higher amount it might still be cost effective and not not need to join. It appears to be based on supplier UPIC.

I am very interested in any improvements being made by PPAI. Please keep us all updated on what you find. It's long overdue....

Allan--as a distributor, why were you quoted costs for DailyBoost and/or OrderTrax 2.0?
My understanding is that it's free for distributors and that revenues are generated by supplier advertising on the site, but I'm not aware of the cost for suppliers to interface with OrderTrax 2.0 (I'd be shocked if it cost suppliers money to interact on DailyBoost).

Scott, the cost has nothing to do with Daily Boost which is at no cost with a UPIC number. The cost was for OrderTrax 2.0 only. I asked what the cost would be since I had known that there was a cost associated with Transact and it seemed to be similar product.

I registered for the site and I was surprised at how much stuff they have on it.

You're right. OrderTrax 2.0 is not for free. I left my education day at The Expo thinking it was. Regardless, Indoff is looking into it. I'm really curious as to how effective it will be. ASI Transact worked so-so when I was using it years ago.

Scott, I understand that ASI has also introduced a similar product at their Orlando show. I believe I received it in a blast from them. Maybe someone saw this presentation.
I also have it on good authority that they are coming out with a product enhancement to ESP which allow customers order directly from the Presentation. Not sure how that will work, but understand it to be coming the end of February. That would certainly be nice.
