This was talked about here a while back. Tell us the catch again? Doesn't the customer have to collect receipts and mail them in some place for a rebate check or something?

Yes. Each month, you send in $100 in reciepts from the gas station or grocery store chain that you choose (can be any location for that grocery store or gas brand), and you get a $25.00 certificate back. So a $100 certificate is good for a $25 card 4 months in a row, a $300 certificate is good for 12 months and a $500 certificate is good for 20 months. The gas stations and grocery stores (and also advertisers) pay for the gift cards for being a loyal customer. That's why the price per certificate is so much less than the face value.
