I just took a look at the Quill Pen C$ price list.....Rather sad that they want 25% more in C$ than in U$.....In my mind that is not reflective of the current market....Exchange is next to nothing and duty is 7% so where do they get off adding 25%?....

Maybe Sanford is trying to cover their costs after acquiring Quill??!!

...and the crazy thing is the price increase came about the same time they switched all production to overseas. Brilliant idea! I can see the meeting now: "Let's switch production to overseas so we lose that core of buyers who want an American Made Pen (Unions, government, etc.), then...let's raise our prices to alienate those who would still buy them even though they're made much more inexpensively offshore."
