I wanted to pass this information along to everyone. I had a horrible experience with Custom Poster Connection who is located in Port Washington, NY. When I say horrible I mean extremely horrible. I had placed 2 orders with them. The first order was for two aluminum signs and the second was for 3 sets of magnets. I called the day after the magnets were supposed to ship out and was told that UPS's system was down and they could not get a tracking number for me. I called the following week and still no tracking number. I called my client when they were supposed to be delivered and their was no product. I called custom poster connection and they still said they could not get the tracking number that my client had them. Supposedly UPS could not provide a tracking number, SURE! We had asked for them to reprint the order which they did. Instead of having them ship it again, since they are local to us we went and picked it up ourselves and we shipped the package.

In regards to the other order, the aluminum sign. First the order was delayed b/c they didn't have the aluminum. Then when we went to pick up the aluminum signs we separated them and the vinyl was coming off the signs. We were told that since this is going on a landscaping truck they would eventually get ruined so they would poke holes in it to fix it. We told them that this was not acceptable. So we left them there and they reprinted them. They said we can call the following day after 1pm and they would be ready for pick up. Well guess what they were not ready. So we waited a few more days to pick it up. When we got back to our office we opened the package. Well nothing was ever re-printed, all they did was poke holes in it to fix it like they originally said. Since we were unhappy with the outcome we called to have everything re-printed and they blamed it on their workers. Well we did get it fixed and settled. I however will NEVER use this company again. They do have great prices, but the saying "you get what you pay for", really means a lot.

I just thought everyone on here should know what type of company this is. Not to mention that we found out they also sell directly to the end user under the name postersigns.com

Hi Kristin!

I have used this company in the past (probably 5 times) and I've been very pleased. They have always done a nice job (I've ordered car magnets and basic yard signs) and they have arrived on time and nicely printed.

However, I did not realize they were selling to the public also. That is good to know.

Thanks for the post. I have an order with them now that was supposed to ship yesterday. I called for the tracking number and was told it will ship tomorrow. Needless to say, I will be watching this carefully and may even pick it up myself. Someone else here in my office has used them before and has been happy with them, but I think they need "babysitting" to make sure they do things when they're supposed to!

Yes they definitely need "babysitting". I couldn't deal with it anymore, so we are looking for a replacement. I don't care that they are local. Be prepared to see a complete mess when you pick it up. Enjoy your visit!
